Chassis: MDA Space frame.


Body: MDA MK1 with SouthernGT Deep Twin Vent nostril and Guerney bubble on driver's door, SouthernGT doors & door hinges.

Transaxle: Renault UN1-13, ex 21Turbo, with upgraded 2nd gear selector, 0.76:1 5th gear ratio.

           Rebuilt by Chris Cole.

Brakes: Willwood cylinders.
                MDA Brake Bias Adjustable Pedal Box (Locked out for road use,)
                HiSpec Vented Discs, 300x28mm front and 300x22mm rear.

    HiSpec 4 Pot ‘Radial Billet 4’ Aluminium Callipers.

    Brembo hand brake callipers.

                HEL Performance supplied ‘Aeroquip’ Stainless steel braided hoses and fittings.

Cylinder Heads: Edelbrock Performer Aluminium, 60cc chambers.

Output of around 300BHP at the flywheel.

Exhaust System: MDA Stainless Steel Crossover, with SouthernGT silencer boxes. 

                                 Primary pipes treated with Zircotec Primary Range Black. Silencer boxes treated with Zircotec Performance Metallic Black.

Clutch:  AP Racing Single Plate. Willwood master cylinder.

                HEL Performance supplied  ‘Aeroquip’ Stainless steel braided hoses and fittings.

Fuel System:
Twin aluminium fuel tanks with Explosafe filling.

       Twin FACET 'Red Top' fuel pumps, twin ‘Malpassi Filter King’ non-return valves.

                          Twin 'Malpassi Filter King' filter unit/pressure regulators. Twin fuel pressure gauges.

                    Ford Cirrus White main colour with Ford Cortina Red 14" wide central stripe, bordered with 1" wide black stripes. Matching cill stripes.

                    The matt black triangles on the front body clip, as seen on the original cars at some races, was not applied.
